Blackstone Solar Inc. is pleased to
release the engineering data
developed for Algonquin Lakeside
Inn. This 12 collector Commercial
DHW heating system provides a five
year payback and potential annual
savings in excess of $3 600 per year.
Algonquin Lakeside Inn will save
energy on hot water heating all
summer long and use the thermal
power in the winter for space
heating.
The solar system will contribute 50‐
70% of the total energy required to
heat the water for the Inn.
The system consists of 360 evacuated
tubes with 60 sq meters of shading to
reduce cooling demand.
