However, we did not think that this was the best place to lay her eggs. Once the deed was done she decided to cross the highway and go back to the lake that way. Confused or just tradition ? We do not know !

April 16th At the Algonquin Lakeside Inn

Wow, what a difference two weeks can make, sunshine today and 19 degrees. Spring has finally decided to show up and melt all the snow. The Lake is still mostly frozen but there are signs that we will soon be able to launch the canoes and kayaks from the beach !
